"I enjoy Erin's online exercise classes! I was a little doubtful at first but now I look forward to each class. She is always cheerful and encouraging, trying to make us smile as we concentrate on our movements. I also find that my older-age morning stiffness has lessened AND I am happy to say that my balance has improved!"

“I have attended Exercise with Arthritis classes (in person, internet Youtube and zoom modes), taught by Erin O’Brien through the Kingston Seniors’ Centre over the past three years. She is knowledgeable, organized and methodical in her approach, with her sessions covering some warm up aerobic exercises, strength exercises with and without resistance bands, weights, balance and dexterity exercises. She incorporates short breaks in transitions between types of exercise, including a few jokes. She also offers at least three variations on each type of exercise to allow participants to choose the level of challenge they wish to undertake. All in all, with her sunny personality, Erin ensures each of us gets a full body workout while having fun with exercise.”

"I am very happy to let everyone know that doing my exercise class with Erin is fantastic! I'm not a happy exerciser at the best of times, but somehow, Erin even has me smiling during the class! It may be the pandemic that gave us Exercising with Erin over Zoom, but it will be my permanent preferred way, in my own home! And not having to go out on a cold blustery winter day is a bonus!"

"Classes on Zoom, Why not, this is a way to go especially in challenging COVID times. I still get my exercise, feel good after I am done. Classes have the same content as in person and I don’t have to leave my home. No weather or parking issues, I can be on time no traffic issues and I don’t have to bundle up with two or three layers to drive to classes, only to undress to do classes and then bundled up to leave and go home. Erin is such a enthusiastic, pleasant, knowledgeable leader she brings that fantastic personality to the screen.I would recommend Erin’s classes to anyone, thumbs up. I will be signing up again. More than meets my needs and expectations. Good work Erin!"

"The exercises are carefully thought out so every major joint is limbered up and strengthened. Gain without pain. Erin demonstrates each exercise clearly before leading her class through it, often showing the exercise from both front and side views so we know exactly what we are doing.
When leading the exercise, she keeps reminding us what to focus on, so we do them properly for maximum benefit. Erin makes good eye contact and smiles a lot, creating a friendly and cheerful atmosphere. I almost feel I’m in the room with her. She displays endless patience and is extremely generous with her time, answering questions, helping with problems and never making us feel “rushed". I have taken quite a few group exercise classes, both live and online, and this is one of the best. I have recommended it to friends. Summary: Five stars to Erin O’Brien’s “Exercise for Arthritis” online classes…. and then there’s the cat, providing background amusement. Five stars to the cat too.

"Since 2018, I have attended “Exercise with Arthritis” classes led by Erin O’Brien. This September, with the onset of the COVID 19 virus, the classes were moved to online Zoom instruction. I have been totally impressed with Erin’s virtual classes because she consistently guides us through head-to-toe exercises offering various levels of difficulty which meet the specific needs of her students. Erin’s meticulous attention to detail, coupled with her engaging, fun approach to exercising, make the Zoom classes truly joyful. I always find the hour classes go by quickly - a great program for Seniors.
Thank you, Erin!"

"Uplifting. Effective. That describes my experience as a zoom participant in Erin O'Brien's
series for older arthritics. As a ninety-year-old former athlete with past injuries, my aching body and balance were declining and life was becoming discouraging. When my wife heard about young and cheerful Erin's zoom program emanating from the Kingston Seniors Centre, we signed up. It works well and and I recommend it."
